The Start To My New Adventure

It's official, my very first day of being a Stay At Home Mom (SAHM). No more worrying about the next time I have to leave my son for 10 hours with someone else to care for him, not knowing what he is doing all day.... and best of all no more pumping three times a day in place of nursing. I would be so happy to never hear the sound of that pump again.
I have spent the past four and a half years working at an orthodontic office forming amazing relationships with my co-workers and our patients... it was extremely bittersweet to leave. But I know in my heart it was the right thing for me and my family. After taking 12 weeks off for maternity leave, going back to work was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I was having anxiety attacks just thinking about it, and physically getting sick just about every work day.
Now my days will be filled with entertaining my favorite little man, doing laundry, cooking, cleaning, working on my crafts (hopefully soon to be my very own business) and studying to become a IBCLC. And until the beginning of November my husband is home on disability due to breaking his right ankle and clavicle. Don't let that fool you into thinking I get help around the house, it's almost the other way around. But it is nice to spend some extra time together.

I mean seriously, what could make a girl happier than spending all day with this handsome stud muffin.
